EXPERIENCE
I have experience in almost every function of government from the taxpayer’s perspective. Almost every day I deal with administration, planning, permitting, property appraisers, code enforcement, and all of the various government services provides for utilities and waste services. My decade and a half of thousands of these experiences has led me to one conclusion; government is designed around our government. Our government needs to be designed around the taxpayer for their convenience and benefit.
I have been self-employed for the last twenty years and have successfully put myself in a position where I can focus my passion and energy into saving our future from the weight of government. I have studied the problems and best practices for nearly two years and now I am going to put those best practices to work in Orange County.
It may be important to some people that I have a successful business background. It may be important to some people that I founded the Orange County Taxpayer Budget Review Board. Some people may suggest I lack experience running government. Given the waste, inefficiency and corruption in local government I consider current leaders to have bad experiences.
My lifetime of experiences and research puts me in a unique position to fix our broken government. My bookshelf is filled with books such as “Real Change”, “Government 2.0”, and “100 Ideas for Florida’s Future.” Whatever the challenge placed in front of me, whether it was business, athletic, or leading a group of volunteers to study government, I have overcome the obstacles and achieved success.
I will use all of this experience to reform local government and return it to the people.
