GOVERNMENT SALARIES
I will propose “wage parity” between the public and private sector. This will require public sector employees cannot have greater pay and benefits than taxpayers in the private sector who do comparable work.
There are many hard working civil servants who deserve their paycheck. But far too often we see excessive salaries of government workers earning far more than their skills would command in the private sector.
It is time to level the playing field between public and private sector salaries.
